Subway
Shuttle
A free shuttle service for registered visitors to and from DUMBO (the A and C trains at High Street and the F train at York Street) and Atlantic Terminal (pickup at BAM Park, at Fulton & Lafayette, and the G train at Clinton/Washington). Learn more about the shuttle routes.
Bus
Lines B67, B48, B57, B62, B69. The B67 bus stops inside the Yard at the Sands Street gate (across from Building 77) and at the Clymer Street/Kent Ave gate. The B57 and B69 stop outside the Yard at Cumberland Street and Flushing Avenue. The B62 stops outside the Yard at Vanderbilt & Park Avenues and is a one-block walk to Flushing Avenue. The B48 stops outside the Yard at Flushing and Classon Avenues
Car
Use 63 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205 for GPS navigation to the Yard. Parking inside the Yard is limited. On-street and metered parking is available outside of the Yard on Flushing Avenue and on many of the adjacent streets. Non-metered parking is available underneath the BQE along Park Avenue.

Bike
The Yard is bike-friendly with bike lanes and bike racks throughout for employees and registered visitors. Citi Bike stations are located both inside the Yard and in the surrounding neighborhoods – View Citi Bike station map.
We offer the most competitive rates in the NYC metro area. Starting at $40.00 for 30 minutes. Our standard rate is to record the self-tape audition, run lines, prepare for a live audition and record.
Appointments are most easily made via the square appointment page, but for cash and Venmo payments you can call or email for availability.
We understand that cancellations and reschedules are in the nature of the industry. We request that you give us as much heads-up as possible before canceling or rescheduling to allow us to make your time available to our wait list.
Cancellations /reschedule less than 24 hours before the session will be a 50% fee. And 100% if less than 12 hours before the appointment.
Things happen! It’s New York! I always allow 10 minutes on either side of an appointment. However, if I am fully booked, I will do my best to accommodate and find a stress-free amount of time to get your tape done, but I cannot guarantee I will be able to get you in.
Business hours are 9am-8pm, but we are available outside of these hours at a premium rate. We understand the hectic nature of the industry. If you need a time outside of what is listed please email: bkactorsselftape@gmail.com with your date & time and we’ll try our best to accommodate you.
All selected scenes by you are edited, rendered, exported, and uploaded the same day you tape (I can’t guarantee a specific time, as it is dependent on how many tapes have been booked that day.)
Clients that need their videos within a certain time frame may purchase a rush edit at any point for a supplementary fee.
There will always be a professional actor at every sessions your reader, provided free of charge.

We shoot with a Canon Cinema Camera C100 Mark II with a Canon L lens.
A Broadcast Quality MKH 416 shotgun mic.
LED Bi-Color lights.
A variety of Savage backgrounds.
We are soundproof with base traps to enhance sound.
We edit and compress the file with Final Cut X.
All files are sent via an encrypted/secure easy to use, downloadable link by WeTransfer. We can send the file(s) directly to you, and cc your agent, managers, casting, or in any order. If you would like the file in other link or upload please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We can also purchase your file(s) to be uploaded Actors Access, YouTube, Vimeo
Please wait in the Navy Yard Lobby till a few minutes before your allotted time and refrain from knocking or entering as I may be in a session.
Sometimes sessions start or finish early, so please allow ten minutes extra in case I am running behind.
