What’s up!

I’m Elliot Latner. I have been a professional actor for over 18+ years. I started as a kid in London with Sylvia Young’s and The Anna Scher Theatre School, I did my LAMDA examinations and then moved to New York, where I graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I was one of twenty to gain a place with the UK’s Film Council Lab, where I had hands-on crafting with Mike Leigh, Brian Cox, Ewan McGregor and Denis Lawson.

I spent some time in La La Land with The Groundlings, went through the advanced Levels at UCB and spent time with Lesly Kahn in her masterclass, where I truly understood how auditions worked. Los Angeles was also where I first learned about the Self-Tape game. So trust me when I tell you… I get it! I get the whole process and the process you need to go through, day in and day out to make it happen.

I created BK Actor’s Self-Tape when I moved back from L.A because I couldn’t find a place I felt comfortable recording. I knew I didn’t want to be in anyone’s house or apartment, and I also didn’t want to be in a tiny studio where I couldn’t move. I also thought the tapes I was getting back for the money I was spending was kind of ridiculous. I knew I needed a guide and coach through my scenes. And so that is what I aimed to do when I set up shop. I guide and put everything I have into everyone who comes through my doors. You’re win is my win. I have found a sensitivity to what the actor needs so that I know where I am best utilized in your craft.

We are a team, and by taking away the stress of the technical fundamentals whilst giving you, the actor, a stress free physical space to put everything into your audition, we can find an authentic performance that gives you a shot in the competitive market. I promise you are in safe hands as I have continued to grow and learn taping actors for 5+ years.

Professional Tapers

RJ is a Brooklyn based Actor and Filmmaker. RJ can most recently seen as Caleb on the Netflix Series 13 Reasons Why. RJ has also appeared in numerous films and Television shows on networks such as NBC, CBS, and HBO. RJ will be mostly available on weekends between 1-5p.

Antonio is the son of Italian parents his passion for performance took him to study acting at RADA – Grad. 2008. Since his graduation he has appeared in several shows in the West End (A View From The Bridge, Matilda, Enron, Groundhog Day), as well as appearing on television in Italian, American and British productions. Antonio played Paul Kelly in the TNT/Netflix adaptation of “The Alienist”.

Rand Faris is a Middle Eastern actress. Her father is Jordanian and mother is Palestinian. Born in the US, she moved to Jordan at the age of 6 until she went to study Drama and Psychology at Kingston university in London. From there, she continued her migrating journey to New York. Her diverse upbringing from living in America as a child and then moving to and growing up in Jordan most her life has allowed her to have a diverse perspective on different cultures. She studied at Stella Adler, and has participated in theatre at The Producers Club and Dixon Place, along with work with The How theatre company.
